1. Introduction

These Terms of Business apply to all sales and services provided by McCoy Motors SEAT & CUPRA, located at Exit 4A N4, Lucan, Co. Dublin. By engaging our services or purchasing a vehicle, you agree to these terms.

2. Vehicle Sales

  • All vehicle quotations are valid for a limited period and subject to availability.

  • A deposit is required to secure a vehicle. Deposits are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise in writing.

  • Vehicle registration and delivery dates are estimated and may be subject to change beyond our control.

  • Ownership of any vehicle does not pass to the customer until full payment is received.

3. Finance & Insurance

  • We are authorised to act as a credit intermediary for a panel of lenders.

  • Finance is subject to status and approval by the finance provider.

  • We may receive a commission or other benefit from the finance provider for arranging finance.

  • Insurance products, where applicable, are offered in accordance with Central Bank of Ireland requirements. Details of commission paid are available at https://mccoymotors.ie/finance-info

4. Service, Parts & Repairs

  • All work carried out is subject to prior authorisation by the customer.

  • Estimates for work are valid for 10 days and may be subject to change upon inspection.

  • Genuine SEAT and CUPRA parts are used unless otherwise agreed.

  • We offer a 12-month warranty on parts and labour, subject to normal wear and tear exclusions.

5. Cancellations & Returns

  • New vehicle orders cannot be cancelled once the order has been placed with the manufacturer.

  • Used vehicle returns are only accepted where a statutory right exists, or at our discretion in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

  • Service bookings may be cancelled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice.

6. Data Protection

  • We comply with all applicable data protection laws including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • Your personal data will be used for the purpose of fulfilling our contract with you, providing customer service, and marketing (where consented).

7. Complaints Procedure

We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and aim to resolve all complaints as soon as possible.

8. Liability

  • McCoy Motors shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses.

  • Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights or our liability for death, personal injury, or fraud.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Business shall be governed and interpreted according to the laws of Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
